A new calling

Gary and I got a "couples calling" today. Well, actually I accepted for us because he is on FTX. When I told him yesterday we were supossed to meet with the Bishop tonight, he guessed it was a Primary calling. I had a secret fear of being asked to teach the adult Sunday Shcool class, but thought we might be put in the nursery. Turns out, we have been asked to teach the 12-13 year-old Sunday School class. When the Bishop first asked me to teach Sunday School I about died, thinking he was talking about the adult classes. Now, I'm not that thrilled about teaching, period, but 12-13 year olds seem less threatening than their parents. It should be an interestng experience for sure. I am looking forward to still being able to go to Relief Society (when Dan lets me of course), but will definitely have to spend more time studying and preparing for Sunday lessons. It will be good for us.
It is our Fourth Anniversary today. It is hard to believe it has been that long, and at the same time it seems like we've been together forever. It has been a wonderful ride though, and has gotten even better since Dan has come into our lives. I wonder where we would be without each other. We don't have a perfect marriage, no one does, but we have a pretty darn good one. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful, caring husband. He and Dan are truly my greatest blessings.
