Don't drink the water...

Do not drink the water in Mesa, Arizona. We stayed there overnight when we went up for our Stake Temple Day and it was NASTY!! It tasted as if it came from a moss covered pond. Residents must get used to it, or I don't know how they would stay hydrated. Maybe they buy bottled water.
On the other hand, it was a great temple trip. It was kind of strange, having to go 3+ hours to the nearest temple, but I am glad we got the chance. We went up Friday night and met our friends at te stake center next to the temple the next morning. We watched their 17-month old, Max, while they did a session and they watched Dan while we did one. The temple was different, but very beautiful inside and out. While we had the boys we took a walk around the temple and its adjoining visitors center. I think some people must have thought both of them were ours. :) They played well together though, so that makes me happy. We had big rainstorms in Tucson on the way up and the way back. It made for interesting driving, but at least it cooled the temperature. Phoenix area is way too hot for me!
We had a not-quite-so-nice suprise when we got home last night. Ants have invaded our apartment and have taken up residency in our kitchen. I will be in the office first thing in the morning to get them taken care of. They seem to have come from the power outlet. We've already had the Orkin man here once in the past month.
Church today was nice. Daniel actually took a nap during Sunday School. He hasn't done that in I don't know how long! I took him into the Mothers Lounge because He basically screamed himself to sleep, but he got a good hours nap. And that meant that he didn't scream through Relief Society and I actually got to sit through 90% of the lesson.

My comments might actually work this time. Ants - humm - I hope you got rid of them.
