New Trick

Dan pulled himself from sitting to standing in the tub today. I put him in the shower with me and I let him play in the tub while I was getting dressed. I looked over and he had a hold of the edge and, while I was watching, he pulled himself to his feet! Then he just stood there and grinned. Pretty exciting!
We have had quite the rain the past few days. Friday night it was raining and blowing so hard the water was coming in under our front door - and we live on the top floor! Today it seems like it has cleared up.

Daniel is turning into a little boy more and more each day. He has started to say "Hi". He doesn't quite have the "H" sound down yet, but he'll say "I". Yesterday I brought him into the front room after his name and Gary was on the phone. Daniel looks at him and says "hi". It was cute. He has also been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. Maybe he'll start crawling on hands and knees soon. We are hoping he'll be walking by Halloween, but who knows.
We've passed the halfway point here in Sierra Vista. We're still not sure what we'll do after, but most likely we'll be going back to Salt lake. We'd really like to get Pedros House sold so we can buy another one in the Salt lake area to fix up & live in. Gary has been looking for a job online. He would really like to get a government job or a job with a big corporation, so they'll give him his job back when he gets deployed.
I have my army class tomorrow. I still need to find a babysitter for Dan. What a pain. Maybe I could just take him with me, but he would probably be a distraction for everyone. But I have to take the class if I want to have TriCare pay for my doctors visits here. A couple of times in the past few weeks I've been lying in bed and could have sworn I felt the baby move. It felt just like it did hen I felt Daniel move - like someone was tickling the inside of my tummy. I had a dream last night that we had twins. That would be a super-suprise!
Yesterdays Sunday School class went well. I had one student. Gary was doing some Army training that got rained out, so I may be solo next week also.
