Hippie Child

We tried to get Dan's hair cut yesterday. He didn't want anything to do with it! He cried and screamed - so it didn't get cut. Maybe it was partly because he has a sore bum, but the whole experience wasn't a good one. We'll try again Saturday. His bum is sore because I made some homemade spagetti sauce on Sunday night and we gave some to him with shell pasta. He normally never has a bad reaction to pasta sauce, but something in the homemade sauce burned his bum, and he woke up a few times in the night screaming. So he has a diaper rash now, but it is getting better. One of his new teeth broke though, a molar. I can feel where one on the other side has cut through, so it'll be showing through soon also. His mood has improved a lot, so the hard part for those two must be over.
We had a nice relaxing holiday, spent most of it at home (well, except for the whole day in Tucson). We played a few rounds of Trivial Pursuit (I won), watch TV and played with Dan. It was nice. Last night for FHE we made hygiene kits for the church's hurricane relief efforts. We'll drop them off at the ward building tonight.
