Burt Family Reunion

Yesterday we wwent to the Burt family reunion. It is the first one they have had in a long time. My Grandma Johnson was a Burt. Two of her siblings are still living - Orville (Corky) and Ruth. My parents came, as well as Shelly, Jeff & Tyler. Aunt Jeanie, Lori & Ryan & Cheryl and her two girls, Michelle & Kendra, were there too. They were the only ones I knew, besides Grandmas brother and sister. It was fun to catch up with Aunt Jeanies family, we don't get to see them very often. I learned that her daughter Teri got married - so congratulations to her. She and her new husband have 8 kids between them. Dan had fun playing with his cousins and going around visiting with everyone. Mom said that a lot of people commented on how good-mannered he was. It is nice when others can say that about your two-year old. (Even if it isn't always true.) Aunt Ruth wanted to hold Jack, so I let her and he just had this concerned look on his face, looking at her. Slowly his bottom lip protruded farther and farther until he started crying. He is becoming kind of particular about who he lets hold him. He even crys when Grandma holds him. I guess he is a Mamas boy.
