We
were fortunate enough this week
to receive a pair of tickets to Thursdays Jazz game. It was a pre-season game against the Pistons. We had really good seats - 6th row! Plus, we got free dinner and parking. I guess working at Ivory has its perks. We attended the temple before the game, so it was a nice evening out together. Dad, Mom and Susan watched the boys for us.
On Friday I took the boys to "Trick-or-Treat Street" at the South Towne Expo Centre. It was an indoor neighborhood, with lots of doors to knock on, a free Halloween movie, crafts & lots of fun. Daniel though it was great that he could knock on the doors and people would answer and give him candy. Sometimes he would just stand there to see if they would keep putting candy into his bucket. If there was a backup and we had to wait in line Dan would try to go back to the doors we had already visited. He was really good at saying "Thank you" after he got candy, and was pretty patient with the lines. Jack had a great time in the stroller, chewing on his alligator.
Jack sprouted his third tooth this week. It is on the top, but it isn't one of the front two like I thought it would be. It is one of the teeth on either side of his front two. He will look really cute when it comes in all the way. I think he may be getting the other three top front teeth as well.
Jack is starting to get onto his knees. I helped him up the other day and he just started rocking like crazy. Now he will rock when he gets onto his knees, but it usually propels him backwards. He hasn't quite figured out how to keep those knees under his body. Here is a video for y'all: Rockin' Jack
