Milestones

Both boys have been reaching milestones in the past few weeks. Dan has started speaking in full sentences (though you may not understand all of the words in each sentence.) He has started to say prayers too. He still needs help, but he likes to say the prayer when we eat & at his bedtime. When he sees me making dinner he'll wander around the kitchen, arms folded, saying bits & pieces of a prayer. He is so cute at bedtime. He has to have his milk, stories (or "silly poems") with Papa, a cup of water at his bedside & his animals and blanket. Oh and of course, he can't go to bed without giving Mama her kiss. I will be in our bedroom working on the computer, or watching TV and I'll hear "mama kiss" over the monitor and hear him running to come get a kiss.
Jack is getting closer to crawling. He can scoot around pretty well on his tummy. Yesterday in Sacrament meeting he got up on his kness for the first time. That was pretty exciting. He has done it a couple of times since, but it only lasts for a second or two. When he is playing on his tummy & gets excited he will high-center himself on his tummy and kick both legs and waves both arms. He wants so badly to crawl! He is sitting up very well now. He will still tumble over after a while, but his stamina is increasing.
