Scarecrow Festival

This weekend was Garys National Guard weekend. So the boys and I spent Saturday afternoon with Aunt Susan and took in the Scarecrow Festival in Sandy. The Scarecrow Festival is a fundraiser for the West Ridge Academy and Utah Boys Ranch - programs for troubled teens. Dan had lots of fun. There are inflatable bounce-around rooms, divided by age so the little kids didn't get hurt. Daniel had a blast trying to jump around. I hated having to take him out. They also had lots of kids games (bean bag toss and the sort), a "Go Fish" booth, train ride, hay maze, live entertainment, a craft tent, haunted house, face painting and more! It was a nice afternoon with Aunt Susan, even if it was a bit chilly.
