With both boys feeling better the past few days, and unseasonably warm weather here in Salt Lake, we took the boys to see Santa last night. It was Jacks first encounter with the jolly old fellow, and Daniels second. We took them to the "Sugar House" in Sugarhouse - it is where my Dad always took me to see Santa. Daniel would not sit on Santas lap. He wouldn't even get close enough for Santa to touch him, though he did accept a candy cane from him. He would sit on my lap next to Santa. We wanted to get a photo of the boys with Santa and it ended up being a family photo since Dan wouldn't go near Santa without Mama. Jackson was okay at first, but quickly figured out that Santa, despite his kind voice and smiles, was a stranger and that deserved a bit of crying (even though Mama was sitting right next to him). So here you have the Jones Family with Santa - not the worlds best photo, but very candid.
Jack is crawling up a storm now. Here is a little video for ya'll.
We gave the boys a nativity of their own on Monday during Family Home Evening. Jackson absolutely adores it, especially the stable.

Poor Santa! He is going to get a complex with the lack of love from the Jones boys!
