I gave Jak his first haircut yesterday. I had been waiting to take him into the place where I get my hair cut (they said they'd do it for free), but I never got around to calling & his hair was getting out of control. So, since it was a holiday & Gary was home to help, I jumped on the chance & gave it to him myself. It's not too bad for my first haircut (that wasn't a buzz!) It has a short spot or two, but over all it is really cute.
He sure looks like a little boy now, not a baby anymore! We stayed home this Memorial Day weekend. We got our garden planted (finally) in the backyard & they boys had a grand time playing in the dirt as we planted. I had to wash Jak's hair twice to get it clean.
We planted tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, beets, radishes, cucumbers, spinach, beans, cauliflower, green peppers, zucchini, yellow squash & pumpkins. I also have some herbs growing in pots on our front porch. Hopefully our garden will fare better this year than last (last year's was a complete & utter flop - nothing grew!)

Oh my heavens!!!!!!! I love the pictures of Jack...especially the one in the tub. What a cutie!. I am sad that I can no longer call him Einstein. Now I will have to come up with a whole new nick name. Oh well. Also, Gary....congratulations on the new promotion. That is GREAT!!!!!!
