Daniel, today

Today, Daniel says that he is going to be a pirate when he grows up. Today, his Cars are his best friends. His Ferrari is called "Ari." Daniel has some favorite phrases & questions we hear many times a day. Here are some of them: 1. "Not today." (usually after we ask him a question he doesn't want to do) 2. "What's her name?" (he doesn't really distinguish gender yet) 3. "What's it called?" followed by 4. "What's it eat?" Numbers 3 & 4 are usually closely associated with the animals in his books, or his plastic animals. A lot of the time he already knows the answer to his own questions, but he wants you to ask him the question. If we ask him what one of his toys names is, he will make one up if the toy is nameless. Last night his frog became "Winslow" and another toy animal (I can't remember which) became "Emma."
He loves to sing & dance. At intervals throughout the day he can be found singing a myriad of songs - currently it is "If you're happy and you know it."
