Last night we took the boys to Liberty Park for their free Monday night concert. This week they had a Tex-Mex group named Rio Bravo Conjunto perform & a Latin American Dance group. I enjoyed the music & even knew the chorus to one song, thanks to my high school spanish teacher. The woman singer had one of the most beautiful alto voice I have heard in a long time. It was really low - probably bordering on a tenor. She was lovely though. Dan enjoyed dancing to the fast songs & Jackson tried to dance as well. We met Gary's brother Russ & 4 of his kids there and fed the ducks afterwards & let the boys play in the 7 Canyons Fountain. Daniel loves this water feature & will play for hours on end if we let him. Jackson likes it too, but is content just to skirt the edges, rarely putting more than his feet into the small pool at one end. Next time we go I'll have to take some photos.
After yesterday's post I have to add some little bit to let you all now that Jack really isn't a little terror (well, most of the time). He is a very sweet child when in the mood & is cute as a button. He has a crooked little smile & mischievous side that just cracks us up. He loves to tease his brother, mainly by taking his toys & running, leaving Dan screaming & chasing him. He loves 'nanas (bananas) and our two dogs. He is full of energy (which explains why he tops the scale at a petite 19.5 lbs.) and tries to imitate almost anything Daniel does. He wants to walk by himself into whatever building we are headed, though he will hold our hands & Daniel's when we tell him to. He is a smart little cookie and is learning new things at an amazing rate. We sure do love the little guy, even if he is a handful at times.
