First Pony Ride

We took the boys to the Utah State Fair on Thursday with my parents. They really like looking at the animals - sheep, cows, goats, pigs & chickens (Dan didn't even freak out in the chicken building). He "petted" some of the animals. With Dan petting involves him touching the animal as quick as possible once & only once. As always the fair had a batch of piglets on display. Dan really like those little guys. Both Dan & Jack were very patient as we looked at all the exhibits. At the end of the night Grandma & Grandpa paid for a pony ride. Daniel went first & absolutely loved it. When the time came to get off he cried so pitifully that the operators were going to give him another ride for free. Jackson wanted a ride too, so they gave us a deal on the second ride. Jackson was a little concerned at first about being on the pony, but soon got over it & had this perma-grin for the remainder of the ride & he cried when it was time to get off. Dan has been talking about the pony ride since. They are cowboys at heart.
