I finally got some of my sewing projects done that I have been fretting about. I have made a blanket for the baby, and a sleep sack/hat set for our baby & for a friends' baby. The picture is of the set I finished today for our baby. The blanket I made matches. It feels good to have them done. I have some new burp cloths cut out as well. I will probably get those done this next week.
It snowed last night & this morning. AT one point last night the TV news said it was coming down at the rate of an inch an hour. We ended up with about 6 new inches. It is very cold outside, so I don't think we'll be leaving the house too much next week. Daniel and Jack were glad to see the fresh snow. They were very distressed when they woke up yesterday morning, after a night of rain, to find their snowman melted. I was sad to see the snow go as well. As much as I dislike being cold, I love the snow! I can't wait until we can take the boys sledding. I remember my dad taking me up to Sugarhouse Park to sled down the big hill, being pulled behind the tractor on our sleds in Idaho, digging snow forts in the ditch across from Grandma's house - What fun!

This is such a beautiful piece. It looks so cozy and warm. How exciting that you have a new baby coming in January. Do you know if it is a boy or girl?
