One of the great things about having a new baby is the little daily discoveries. Some things we've noticed about Evan in the few days he has been with us:
1. He has a dimple (just like Daniel)
2. He sleeps A LOT! (we're talking 20+ hours a day here!)
3. He loves to sleep cuddled next to Mama at night
4. He likes to have something in his mouth. He may not be sucking it, but he likes to have something in there.
Daniel and Jackson seem to be adjusting well to their new little brother. Daniel loves to help me do things for him - like take diapers to the garbage, bring me the wet wipes, hold the baby's bottle (when he gets one) and watch the baby if I leave the room. He is always interesting in what Evan is doing, or what I am doing with the baby. Jackson also like to help with diaper duty, but pretty much doesn't pay a lot of attention to Evan unless he is crying. Jack calls Evan "Bay" (short for "Baby," I think). Daniel is very set in believing that Evan is his baby brother & that Jackson will get his own some day.

Daniel was pretty cute when I told the primary that he has a new baby brother. He just popped right up and said "Yeah!! I have a baby brother, he's name is Evan!!" He was so cute. Had to tell you!
Congratulations! He is beautiful. I'm sorry to hear about the delivery story. I'm glad everything went o.k. I hope that was a once in a lifetime experience. He is just beautiful.
