Date Night

Gary and I had a nice date night on Friday. He took me to my favorite Mexican restaurant downtown (The Blue Iguana). I got my favorite dish (burrito ahogado with chile verde) and had my favorite person for company! They had a wonderful duo singing. We had heard them this summer at Liberty Park. We hardly even talked about the boys which, if you have kids you know, is practically a miracle. After dinner we stopped at Baskin Robbins and shared a clown cone. I'm thinking they would be fun to make for Dan's birthday this summer. Then we went shopping, looking for a skirt or dress for me. We didn't find one, but I did get a much-needed pair of nylons. In all we were only gone a couple of hours, but it seemed longer and was a nice break. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for watching the boys!!
Saturday I went to the fabric store & bought some patterns and fabric for a skirt & a dress. Hopefully I can find the time to make them! In actuality I have the skirt cut out & just need to drag out my sewing machine & sew it up. We spent most of the rest of the day at home & ended the day with a viewing of Dances with Wolves (one of Gary's favorites).
Sunday Eric & Leia came over to borrow the truck and visited with me & the boys for a while (Gary was in meetings). Eric was playing with Dan & Jack and I got this shot of them. Isn't it hilarious? In the afternoon we attended church at the Spencer 2nd Ward in Magna - where we will be going to church if we get the house. The people were friendly & seemed nice.

Thats one of the best pictures I've seen. Good snap on that one. Glad you guys had a cozy time together, it's much needed when you have kids. Hope you get your skirt done. I'm not a sewer so it's a miracle alone to me that you can do it.

It is so nice that we can keep in touch like this. I really liked your baby announcement. For the picture with isaac looking up to the camera I just sharpened the pixels more than usual. It makes their eyes really pop.
I think your boys are so cute and three of them (I have a feeling that is my fate too :0)
