Target Tantrum

If any of you were at the Ft. Union Target this afternoon I apologize - that was my three-year old throwing a tantrum. After collecting our groceries I took him over to look at the Cars. In the past I can usually get him to leave without too much of a fuss, but not today. He would not leave the aisle without massive amounts of screaming, crying and stomping. I had to take him by the hand & lead him off and if I let go of his hand, he headed back to the cars. So no more toy section for him. No more Target because I know he will want to go to the toys & will, more than likely, throw a tantrum if we don't go. Maybe it was because it was almost nap time & he hasn't had a nap for two days, maybe he is getting Jack's cold, who knows. All I know is that it was one experience I don't want repeated.
And just for fun, a photo of our giant (well, about 2 feet tall) stuffed Elmo holding Evan.

Ahhh....that is what I heard from my office!!!! :) Funny thing about yesterday, I was going to call you and see if you wanted to come out for lunch, but decided you may not want to bring all the boys out just yet. Darn. Should have called as you were in the area anyway. ;)

Sounds like Aunt Suzzie and Grandma better visit with the magic rubbing stuff to make the colds go away. Glad I wasn't there, but I do believe I felt the rumble.

I actually had the same "problem" yesterday too. We were in McDonald's play place and gosh you can sure hear an echo there. I carried my screaming Jayden out to the car and when I got out there he said he had to go potty. So back in we went and back out screaming we came. Mother's take so much abuse! :o)

This is why I do most of my shopping while Eli is at preschool. The other day he ran away from me in Target and I couldn't find him anywhere. They paged me over the intercom and told me he was hiding under the table in the optical department.
