The cake!We held Jackson's Birthday party tonight. We had all of his grandparents over, Aunt Shelly & Uncle Jeff & Tyler and our friends Amanda & Noah Dipo. I spent a good part of the day constructing his Thomas cake. It turned out pretty good. I found a great tutorial online here. Daniel was more excited about the cake than Jackson I think. He was bouncing off the walls while I decorated. It took longer than I thought, but I finished it just as the guests were arriving. Jackson had a good time and we all had a good visit. We had salsa & chips while we visited then we let Jack tear into his gifts. He received lots of nice toys and had plenty of help from Dan & Noah opening them. They had a ball with the tissue paper. After presents we cut into the cake. I now have half a Thomas cake sitting on my table. Anyone want some?? All in all it was a great evening celebrating our Jak Jak.

That is one incredible cake. I could never have done anything like that. Mine would have off the shelf. I'm good at buying them. Cute pics!
Wow what a cake. We had a Thomas cake for Owen as well but I bought it at Walmart and it wasn't nearly as cute. What an amazing mother you are!
