Moving In

We are officially moved in to the Breezy House, though I think it will take me a few weeks to unpack all of our things (and get rid of the junk!) We just got our internet up and running today. It is nice to be connected again. I will post pictures of the house soon. I need to get some more unpacking done so we can start to feel normal.
Our neighborhood is really nice. The day we moved in the EQ President & our Home Teachers showed up to help us unload. How great is that - our records aren't even here yet & we have Home Teachers! They did know we were coming but still - that is so cool. Since Saturday we have had quite a few people stop by and say "Welcome." The RS President has come by twice - once with her husband & once with her presidency. Our neighbor across the street put our garbage cans out for us on Monday since we hadn't done it, not knowing when garbage day was. She even put the extra garbage the previous owner left around the can into our neighbors half-empty can. (That made me laugh a little.) The ward is nice too, really friendly. Daniel had a little trouble going to Primary on Sunday. I ended up sitting with him until it was time to go to his class, then he was fine.
The elementary school is just a block away. I am going to go register Dan for preschool on April 10. I think he will be glad to go back to school in the fall. I know I'll be glad.
We have found renters for our basement apartment - two ladies. One is single & one is in the process of a divorce. The younger one (the divorcee) has two boys, ages almost 4 and 1. They will be good playmates for the boys I hope. She is also bringing a swing set with her for the backyard. Both Ladies seem nice & both work at the nearest IHC Instacare/Kidscare clinic. Jack & I got to see both of them on Monday night when I took him in for an earache. He had been screaming for a good hour and batting at his ear. Turns out he has a double ear infection & a viral lung infection. (!) Poor kid. He is feeling better now. He had just finished a prescription for an ear infection on last Thursday so they gave us a stronger one this time. Sometimes he gets these ear infections that just won't go away.
