Saturday

Last night we had our friends the Dipo's over for dinner. Our boys have really missed playing with their little boy since we moved, and vice versa. It was great to visit and it is always a pleasure to make food for people who like my cooking. Amanda thinks I'm a good cook & Nate said my fish taco's are better the T.G.I. Fridays. It was a good emotional recharge for me. I miss Haven Ward & our friends there. We haven't really made any friends out here yet. Hopefully soon.
Today we worked in the yard. It was a nice warm day, with a little wind. We have been trying to figure out how to arrange all the things we want into our back yard (garden, dutch oven pit, fruit trees, swing set, etc.). I think I figured out what the long cement pad along our back fence was for. As far as I can tell the previous owners stacked firewood on part of it. Other than that, it is a mystery. Gary brought the boys slide home from the old house yesterday. The boys have enjoyed that a lot today. They love going down it in all positions, head first, backwards, etc.
