Farewell, Jason Castro

We love American Idol. We watch it almost religously (at least on Tuesday nights). Last night when I was at Girls Night Out Gary and the boys watched the American Idol results show. As I have mentioned in the past, Daniel loves American Idol. This year he even has a favorite contestant - Jason Castro. I don't know why he chose Jason, maybe it is the dread locks. Well, Jason was voted off last night. Gary tried to prepare Dan by telling him that Jason might be going home, but Dan wouldn't hear of it. When he was sent home, Gary said he thought Daniel might cry. "No Jason Castro. No!" was Dan's response to the results. I wonder who his favorite will be now. Personally, I'm gunning for David Cook. Gary says David Archuleta.

awww, cute Daniel.

for the record, (even though I haven't been watching religiously)- while D. Archuleta is awesome, totally- I think I'm rooting for the Cook-David.

That is so darn cute of Daniel. Jayden just tells me when it's on because the idol music starts playing. I love D. Arch. voice but D. Cook is really good with music (changing it in a way to make it sound good with his style). So as long as they both make it into the top 2, I don't care. They're both going to get contracts so who cares. I like them both evenly. And for the record, I check your blog once a day and try to leave comments when I have time but there is the occasional day when I lose my head and check it twice thinking I hadn't checked all the blogs yet. (I'm pregnant and mindless!)

I don't watch American Idol. However, I do like it when they have the tryouts, where the really awful singers congregate. I should't talk, I can't carry a tune.

I almost cried when Carly went home. I really am a fan of both Davids. I'm not sure which one I'd love to see one...basically either one. :)

I'm leaving a comment so you know I'm viewing your blog from time to time. Cute family you've got.
