Or in our case, vegetables! We've finally picked some of the first vegetables from our garden. Our zucchini plants are in full production mode. I picked two on Sunday and two more today. I am planning on making some Zucchini Pineapple muffins from one or two of them and I will probably slice and freeze the others. We did have spinach from the garden a few weeks ago in a salad too. Almost all of our tomato plants have tomatoes on them. The plants themselves are the biggest I've ever grown. They are huge! I guess our morning-sun, afternoon-shade yard is really good for tomatoes. We have six different varieties of tomatoes - Beef Steak, Heirloom Margold, Jet Star, Pear, Heat Wave and Celebrity. We'll have to have a tomato tasting party when they all ripen!

How exciting! So far I have had peas and radishes. My tomatoes are doing really well this year as well as the carrots. I have never been able to get a zuchinni to grow. I'm trying again this year and still nothing.
I'll share some with you!
How wonderful! How I wish we could have a garden! That is one thing that would be wonderful to have and so useful. It's too bad there isn't a community garden around here...
I guess I will have to make do with the produce from the farmers market.
Yea, I love fresh produce from the garden. My tomato plants are also huge this year. I wonder if it's the weather or something. I also wanted to say that I think Evan looks a lot like Daniel. He is adorable and it looks so unpleasant to be fitted for that helmet. I hate it when you have to do stuff like that to your kids and they don't understand it.
I'm jealous, because we moved to a house right during planting season my crops are lagging, hopefully I'll get a few tomatoes before it freezes.
