Evan has a brand new accessory. He gets to wear it 23 hours a day. It is his helmet! We picked it up at FitWell this afternoon. The first time they put it on him he cried, but when they brought it back after some fine tuning and put it on again he was fine with it. He cried again when I put him in his car seat, but has been okay ever since.
In this second picture if you look close you can see how much his head has to grow to be even with the other side. The guy who has been working with us (I don't know his name, how bad is that?!) said he thinks it will probably take longer than the usual 3 months for Evan's head to even out. It all depends on how fast he grows though. I have been thinking that I might decorate it, probably just something simple, like his name. He already gets called a girl, so I don't want to go overboard. What do you all think?

it is so cute, you shoul decorate it like a football helmet :0) Or just his name :0) I'm glad you are getting things fixed! Hopefully we will be seeing you all soon, we leave for Utah tomorrow!!!

I was totally thinking that he would be wearing this nerdy, freaking, bike helmet meets orthodontic head gear type helmet, but that helmet is actually cute. Not weird at all.
