Labor Day Weekend

This Saturday was Gary's parents' 50th Anniversary party. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but I did steal a few from Tammy's blog. They did have a professional photographer there & I'll post pictures from him when I get them. We had a nice time visiting and celebrating Granny & Opa's marriage. All of their surviving children were there as well as most of their grandchildren & great-grandchildren. The family presented them with a quilt that had all of the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's hand (or foot) prints on it. We also watched a short video of them answering questions about their courtship and marriage, then a longer picture slide show. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.Yesterday we celebrated my Dad and Shelly's birthdays with dinner and cake at Shelly's house. It was fun to sit and talk and to let the boys play together. It rained a ton last night but we were able to get the cake inside dry so it was all good!Today we are working on the basement storage room & trying to get the basement rented again now that it's empty.
