I took Evan in to see Dr. Schmelzer today for another follow up on his hands and helmet. Dr. Schmelzer said that his helmet wasn't fitting right, so the tech came in and adjusted that (with a blowtorch!) His head is improving and we are (hopefully) at the halfway point. At his last PT appointment his therapist said his asymmetry had improved by 14 mm. So now it is at 11 mm instead of 26 mm. That is great progress!
I asked Dr. Schmelzer about Evan's right thumb because it is bent the wrong way. He said we would give it a couple more months, then if it hadn't improved on its own he would have to put a pin in it for a few weeks. Doesn't sound like too much fun.
Gary is taking the boys to the Friends of Scouting dutch oven dinner tonight. Evan and I are heading to a PartyLite party for one of my Mom's friends. I made ham rolls. I can't wait to eat them! I made these delicious brownies for the scouting dinner. They are to die for! I also added a "follower" widget to the recipe blog. So now all you blog-stalkers can get updates whenever I post a new recipe (if you want.)

Brownies....Ham Rolls.... You're mean.... you know I'm on a diet right?
YEA for Evan!!!
I don't like brownies for the most part but that recipe looks so good. I'm really going to have to try it. I was thinking that I had everything in my pantry already and then I saw the caramel. Guess I'm going to have to go to the store this week. Your teaching your kid well. My kids won't touch a tomatoe with a ten foot pole, than again neither will Craig and I.
Way to go on Evan's progress!
