Evan Update

Evan had his nine month checkup this past week. He weighs 17 lb. 14 oz. and is 29.25 inches long. He is in the seventh percentile for weight and 75th for height. He weighs a pound and a half more than Jack did at his age and two and three quarter pounds less than Daniel did at his age (Daniel did have a cast on at his age though). He is two inches taller than Jack at the same age and a quarter of an inch taller than Daniel. Tall and skinny. As his doctor says: "I wonder where he gets that from?" At his helmet appointment on Monday the tech said that he is almost done! There is one spot on the back of his head that still has to round out. Hopefully he'll be out by Thanksgiving. Evan is finally getting teeth! His two bottom ones started breaking through this week. He is very late compared to his brothers - they both had teeth at six months.
Daniel has been sick this weekend. It began Thursday. After his nap he told me that his tummy didn't feel good and after he went to bed he vomited three times. Yuk! He was fine Friday and Saturday (aside from diarrhea), then this morning he woke up all shaky and vomited twice while lying on the couch watching cartoons. Gary called our home teacher to help give Dan a blessing and while Gary & Jack were gone to sacrament meeting he started feeling better. Now he's running around like his normal self. Luckily he hasn't been to school since Wednesday and I think I'll keep him home tomorrow, just in case. We don't want to be getting his friends sick right before Halloween.

Yeah, we caught that bug too. Luckily it didn't last long. Hope the rest of you don't get sick!

Aw, it's the worst when they get those stomach bugs. Anytime my daughter throws up she looks so betrayed afterwards!

On another note, your recipe sounds delish, but I confess I don't even own a crockpot. Isn't that against some Mommy rule or something? :)
