UMNH

On a tip from my friend Emlyn, we took the boys up to the Utah Museum of Natural History on Monday night. (The first Monday of each month you can get in free.) The boys were so excited to go to the dinosaur museum. They were actually very obedient while we were there, even though they were so excited. They loved the Paleontology room the most (of course). Gary and I enjoyed it all. It is hard to read the placards while keeping up with two little ones on the move, but we did get some information out of the visit. I guess that just means that next time we go we can read some of what we didn't this time. We also will have to stay for the experiments in the lobby. We didn't this time, but Daniel really wanted to. Next time for sure.

Evan is nine months old today! He getting better at sitting up. He can sit up straight now, and plays with toys in front of him. He can sit for a good length of time, but will topple over in the end. Luckily, the helmet has prevent any major head bonkings. His backwards scooting is getting better too. This morning he scooted himself across the family room so he could play in my curtains. He also learned anew sound - he can make smacking, or kissing, noises with his lips. I actually got it on video too. Click here to see it.
