Halloween!

We had a busy, fun, day yesterday. First of all, the weather was perfect. It was a gorgeous day and night!
We began the day by meeting Shelly and Tyler at Grandma and Grandpa's house and going to visit Grandma at work. We brought cookies to share with her co-workers and Daniel enjoyed passing those, and some candy, out. Down one hallway he would go into an office and give them a candy bar and after he left Jack would go in trick-or-treating and get it back! We all had a good laugh at that. After passing out our treats we took the boys up to the 26th floor to the observation deck. They thought that was neat to look out over the city.Next we all visited Aunt Suzy at her work and went out to lunch with her. When we walked into the building the people in another office beckoned us to come trick-or-treat there, so we did. We didn't really have to convince the boys any. At Applebee's there was a guy sitting at the bar who thought Evan's costume was just the cutest thing ever. On our way out he gave each of the boys a dollar bill. Nice guy!We came home for a nap and the boys actually went to sleep! When Gary got home we had dinner and headed out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. We really only went up one street and to a few houses on our street, but all the walking wore the boys out. Jackson fell asleep on our way to Granny and Opa's new house in Taylorsville. We stopped by Gary's cousin's house on the way there. They were tickled that we did.We had a nice visit with Granny and Opa and the boys enjoyed helping them pass out treats to the kids. By the end of the night Jackson was a little terror, but I think we were able to get them in bed by 9:30. All in all, a great Halloween!
