Thanks to everyone who has sent us Christmas cards. I love getting them! They are one of my very favorite things about Christmas. Maybe it is because I am downright lousy at keeping in touch with my friends, so I love to get the cards and letters that come with them. (Apologies for no letter accompanying ours this year!) I proudly display them all on our china cupboard. I hate to get rid of them when Christmas is over. I think I have a bag of old Christmas cards floating around the house somewhere.
In lieu of a mailed Christmas update letter, I thought I'd post a list here of what we've done this year. But then again, you all read the blog often and are up to speed, right? If you do, just stop reading now, or keep on reading and be bored silly. This year:
Gary turned 35 in January
Jackson turned 2 in March
I turned 28 in July
Daniel turned 4 in July
We bought a home in March
Evan had surgery on his hands twice - once in June and once in December
Evan was fitted for a helmet to correct his plagiocephaly
Physical therapy for Evan since June for his torticollis
We got a cat (Macy)
We lost a dog (Max died in September)
Daniel is in pre-school this year and is loving it
Gary has been working at WesTech Engineering for almost a year
I have been doing design work, sewing, ebaying and lots of blogging
Gary's parents sold their home on Harvard and moved to Taylorsville
Gary became a great uncle again (twice!)
I became an Aunt again
I was called to be the Wolf Scout den leader
Gary was called to be the first counselor in the Elders Quorum presidency
We are loving life and are having lots of fun raising our boys!

I love getting Christmas Cards too! It's like the best Christmas Tradition ever... well, maybe not the best, but seriouslly one of my all time favorites. Every year I hope that more people catch on to how gret it is, but alas.... every year, we always send like 10 times more cards out than what we receive. :o) We always tape ours up on our door. :o)
