Now that we have had Oliver for a full day I will give you all the details. Oliver is a 5-year old black pug. He came from a very loving family, as witnessed by the wardrobe he came with. He is a bit taller and longer than Max was, definitely on the bigger side for a pug, but he's not overweight like Max was. Oliver actually reminds me a lot of Max. He and Max have a lot of similarities - they both like to eat garbage for one. Oliver has already gotten into the kitchen garbage twice. They also have similar dispositions. Oliver spent a lot of time yesterday napping. He doesn't seem to care about having a pillow to lay on. Max always had to have a pillow. Oliver does seem to feel entitled when it comes to sleeping on the bed. Max always had to be lifted onto the bed if we wanted him up there, Oliver just jumps up himself. The first night we had him home he was sleeping on the floor when we went to bed and around 5am we woke up to a pug snuggled between us, snoring away. Oliver and Max have a lot of the same expressions and are both really good with the boys. Another similarity: Pug gas! Ewww!
The boys love him, though Evan doesn't like it when Oliver licks his face. Daniel keeps pointing out that Max and Oliver have the same tail. They like to try and get Oliver to come into their room when they are playing. Oliver prefers to be my shadow and follow me around. He is a sweet guy.
GD23: I'm grateful to have puggy noises around the house again.

What a cutie! I love little dogs, it's never the same when you don't have one around.
So cute. I was to have a dog again but Sal keeps reminding me to wait until we get a house so he has more room...
Oliver's cute! He's lucky, our dogs aren't allowed to touch our bed.
What a great looking Pug! And I agree, dog gas is the worst. Our Pansy sleeps inside at night and she is the loudest sleeper out of all of us, usually waking me up.... but her gas is the worst! :o) Gotta love dogs!! I'm glad you guys found a great replacement for Max. We went to the H. Society today to look at cats, but was reminded that we can't have one right now. *sniff*... I'll have to be content with our hounds. for now...
hey its Aubree, i'm so glad that oliver is feeling at home and that you guys are so good to him. tell him how much i love and miss him still, especially his snoring at night:) thanks for letting him have such a wonderful family that loves him as much as i do.
