Evan had his last physical therapy appointment today. He has overcome his torticollis to the point where he has equal rotation of his head both ways and the tilt of his head to one side is gone. We still have some work to do getting him to walk, but Holly (his PT) said that he is fine as long as he is walking by the time he is 18 months old. If not, she wants to see him again. I am thinking about getting him a toy shopping cart to help him with his walking. He was using one today and it really helped.
GD55: I am grateful for dedicated people like Holly who have helped my boys so much!

That is excellent news!! And don't worry about his walking yet ... my cousin didn't walk until her mom scheduled an appointment for her to discuss it. Then she stood up and walked as well as ever. Just didn't want to do it until she could do it perfectly!! But the shopping cart is a good idea. I have a little stroller for Clara, and she LOVES it!
Cornmeal Cheddar Fritters? Where's that recipe? And that is totally awesome that he is do with PT! Noah didn't walk until he was like 16 months, all kids are different. :o) But the toy shopping cart sounds fun for him!
I have a little toy that is like a shopping cart, at least it has a spot where you can put stuff in it. The child stands behind it and pushes it. We are coming to SL the weekend of May 6/7, would you like it? My kids loved pushing it around and piling stuff in it. It helped them with their walking.
Thanks Heather, but I am looking for a certain one. It needs to be the right height and have a basket so I can put weights in it to slow it down. Thank you for the offer though!
Congratulation's on your PT graduation. What an accomplishment...keep up the good work! What a cutie you have there.
