The other night when we went to dinner at E Jo we observed an interesting coincidence. Standing at the corner of 700 E. and 3300 S. was a panhandler with her sign. Directly above her, nailed to the power pole was another sign: "Support you local food bank. Feed the many, not the few." I think next time she should pick a better corner.
GD50: I'm grateful for great teachers. Dan's preschool teachers are awesome. I was sad that Jack may not be able to go this coming year, due to their losing Title 1 funds. But today when I picked him up his teachers told me that they may be getting Title 1 funds back (thanks to Obama's stimulus package) and to get Jack signed up ASAP. I will be doing that tomorrow!

Hehehe, that would have been a good picture for Jay leno's headlines.
Aw, but maybe the thought of seeing both of those things will stick with people and they will support the local food banks.
