U of U Basketball

We took all the boys to the University of Utah game on this past Wednesday, the 3rd. Gary was given the tickets by an old friend. This friends family has season tickets and couldn't use them that night, so we got them. The tickets said row 5, but the seats were on the front row, right behind one of the baskets. It was so fun being so close to the game. We were so close we could hear the players talking to one another (and swearing!) The cheerleaders in front of us loved Evan. The boys did really well. Evan liked watching the ball and trying to climb onto the scoreboard. Daniel cheered very loudly. He said his favorite player is David Foster - because he has a "D" in his name. LOL Gary had taken Dan & Jack to a game a few weeks ago, but they didn't get to sit near as close. I think both Dan & Jack were more interested in the game this time. All three of them were up on the big screen at one time or another, Daniel almost was hit with the game ball after a wild shot, and Evan got a little basketball from the cheerleaders (his brothers were jealous). I had a good time too. It would have been even better had we won, but it was a fun spur-of-the-moment activity. Thanks to the Hewletts!

Looks like it would have been a blast. Jayden can't wait to go to the Jazz game with Craig in March. He swears he'll stay awake the whole time but being that the game starts at his bedtime, we'll see. Glad you guys could have a great family time together!

Oh I miss the U games. It's been a long time since Dave and I have been to one. Of course we never sat any closer than the back of the student section...
