Daniel and Jackson had their first major dental work done today. Jackson had a cavity filled, 2 root canals and 2 crowns. Daniel had 2 teeth extracted, spacers put it, a filling and a crown. I wasn't able to be in the rooms with them when the work was being done, but did sit with them for 45 minutes or so after they gave them the sedative. The dentists told me that they both slept off and on through their procedures. The dentists said they did really well, and I am proud of them. They are on a soft food & clear liquid diet for the rest of the day. Do you know how hard it is to fill kids up on a diet like that? LOL Especially when they didn't get breakfast because they were going to the dentist! The rest of today will probably be spent watching television, and hopefully taking a nap. We'll see if they are up for school tomorrow.

Oh, that does not sound like fun! I've had one root canal and it was pure misery. I hope your boys feel better soon and that you can fill them up on clear liquids!! Good luck!
....oh, and I'm eagerly waiting to hear what is more fun.....
Wait. Is that more fun than Christmas? Or more fun than the dentist? Cuz really, if it's the latter, probably anything will fit!
Hey, can you email me the name of the dentist that did the work on them? I have to take my kids soon and I already know that Noah has a cavity. I REALLY hate our Dental insurance, so I'm hoping to find a good kid dentist that takes it. See you and the boys on Thursday!!
I can imagine how your days been. I would hate the thought of having do such major dental work on my girls. Hope they recover quickly!
