Frogs & Sunday School

We had a nice weekend. Yesterday we tried to go to Kartchner Caverns, but they were sold out. So we went to St. David instead. We visited the monastery there and walked around. It was very pretty and peaceful. We have been getting quite a bit of rain lately. We had a storm around eight ysterday night, and a really big storm in the middle of last night. It has been raining every day. Frogs have appeared in the wash across the parking lot. We haven't seen them but you can hear thm at night, calling. They sound sort of like sheep and are quite loud. We can hear them from inside our apartment. They aren't too disturbing though, I think they're kind of cool.
We taught our first Sunday School lesson today. It didn't go as well as I would have liked. We had a total of two people in our class. One is mentally handicapped, Down Syndrome I think, so he doesn't really participate. The other girl in our class is named Melinda. She told us there were supposed to be three others, but they didn't come today. I had a lesson planned with a lot of participation, so it flopped a bit. It may have been geared to an older audience too. Our lesson was on Buiding the Kingdom in Nauvoo. I made a handout with buiding block candy that said "The Nauvoo saints built the Kingdom - so can I." Hopefully they got something out of it (beside the candy) and we will get better.
I finished sewing a little outfit for Daniel today. It consists of a jumper and shirt, with coordinating robot fabrics. I think it is cute.
