We took Daniel to the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson today. We had a good time showing him all of the animals, he especially liked the ducks. It was a smaller zoo than Hogle Zoo in Utah, but just right for the attention span of a 14-month old. They had a variety of animals - from an anteater to zebras. It rained a little when we first arrived, but cleared up and made for a cooler day.
It looks like Gary will have a job when we get back to Utah in two weeks. He is going to be taking a Korean language course, offered by the Army, for six months in Draper. It will start on October 24, just a few days after we get back. He'll get paid regular Army pay, I think, so that is a relief. We'll also get to keep Army insurance, so that is a big relief. That should take us through when the baby is born. Looks like we'll be staying in my Grandma Johnson's house in South Salt Lake for a while. It will be nice to have our own place to stay, instead of living with my parents. It is a little more baby-safe as well.
