Daniel can give hugs. It's not an on-command event, but he will hug you if you are sitting on the floor where he can get his hands around your neck. It is so cute and makes you feel so good.
We spent Columbus Day in Bisbee, a Copper mining town about half an hour or so from Sierra Vista. The mine is closed now, but they have a museum and lots of little antique and art hops. It is sort of like Park City, UT but less commercialized. We walked through the museum and around town, then had lunch at the Bisbee Grille. It was a beautiful day, not really hot - just right. I will miss the nice weather here.
Daniel and I went to playgroup this afternoon at the Veterans Memorial Park. He has been a little grumpy the past few days. I think he's getting a cold - his nose was runny today. He has been waking up during the night for no reason the past week too. Last night we let him fuss it out and he went back to sleep after a little while. The last two times it happened before that we got up and took him out of bed, but that just made him cry harder and he went back to sleep as soon as we put him back in bed. I've had to turn our heater on the past two nights. It's been getting pretty chilly the last few evenings. Well, chilly by Arizona standards anyway.
