Daniel the Walker

Daniel is getting the hang of this walking thing. He wants to be walking (or crusing) almost all the time. He still crawls, especially when he wants to get somewhere fast. But he is walking alone a whole lot more the past few days. He can go for quite a long time on his own. He takes tiny little steps to keep his balance and stretches his arms out in front of him like a mummy. He makes the happiest sounds when hes walking on his own. I think he is quite proud of himself. I am almost sure he'll have it down to a science by Thanksgiving.
Jeff and Shelly came for dinner tonight. It is so exciting to think that they'll have a baby in two months! I am very excited. I need to get their crib bedding done! I think that part of the excitement (for me) is that it will means there is only two months until our baby arrives. That and I'll have a new little nephew to cuddle. Hopefully Dan can get used to another baby being around too.
