On the move

Daniel walked all the way across the kitchen today by himself. He is getting more and more confident with walking. Yesterday at church he would be holding onto me, then let and just go for it - walking 5 or 6 steps until he fell. His body still gets ahead of his feet, but he is learning quickly to get them in synch. It is still exciting every time he walks on his own. With his new haircut he is looking more and more like a toddler each day.
We went to the blessing of James and Dyana Conrads little girl yesterday afternoon. Her name is Aleea Marie, and she looks a lot like her older sister. It was nice to see all of our family who were there. Dyanas sister Michelle suprised her and flew in from Pennsylvania and her cousin Jeff (Garys nephew) came down from Provo, among others. Daniels cousin Jayden was there. They played together for a little bit, mostly Dan chasing Jayden to play with his truck. Between Aleea and Garys mom, there were 4 generations represented in the Jones family. That was kinda cool. It was funny being introduced as Dyanas Aunt, because we are about the same age and her sister Michelle is older than I am.
