Baby Shower for Shelly

We had Shelly's baby shower yesterday afternoon. It went well. She got a lot of nice gifts, including a carseat and baby gate and baby monitor. She also got some blankets, clothes, toys, etc. We had about 15 people there, plus a few kids. Two of them were very hyper little boys. I don't think Dan knew what to do with them. They were running back and forth across the room, being very noisy. I gave them some cars to play with and they were dumping them out all over, making lots of noise. My mom ended up with a headache. They reached my limit when I looked over and one of them hand his hands around Dan's neck in a choking fashion and was saying "Uncle, uncle!" I could have smashed him! I yelled at him and he let go. But oooh! Poor Dan just sat there and looked at him, not knowing what to do. After the day was done, both Mom and I swore that my kids would never act like that.
Dan was cute yesterday morning. Gary went in to give him his morning milk as usual, and Dan usually makes the hungry sign/sound first thing. But yesterday Gary walked in and said "Good Morning" and Dan says "Morning." I heard it through the baby monitor. It was so cute and sweet.
