Mine!!

Papa taught Daniel the word "Mine." I think he has a pretty good understanding of what it means, too. Usually it comes out when Papa is playing with him, building towers with his wooden blocks. Papa will start building, then Dan will reach over and say "Mine" and knock them down. It is funny to watch. He also learned how to say his name today. He was looking at pictures of himself in our bedroom and I asked him who it was, then I said "That's Daniel" and he said "Daniel." It is so neat how fast he is learning new words. He will try to repeat a lot of what we say. He usually missed the first sound - so a word like Jack comes out "Ack." He is trying though. He is still in his grumpy teething stage. These last 4 teeth seem to be taking longer than the others did. I don't mind it all that much though, because he wants to be held all the time and normally he doesn't want to be held - he wants to be on the go.
