Happy Christmas

It's hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone. We had a really nice Christmas day that we spent with family. First thing in the morning we woke up, fed Dan his breakfast and opened gifts. Dan loved the wagon he got. He spent most of the morning climbing in and out of it. He also really liked his Elmo Christmas tree ornament. He got Little People sets and clothes, and an indoor play-tent-structure from his Uncle Keith and Aunt Kathy & kids. I wish we had more room so we could set it up. He didn't like the sound of ripping paper much, so he didn't really open many of his gifts, Papa had to do it for him. Papa gave Mama a DVD burner and a couple of books, a very nice Willow Tree figurine, 2 CDs, a teapot and some very nice Gingher sewing scissors. Mama gave Papa a new PDA, a blanket she made, pajama pants, a book and the new George Strait CD. We also got a very nice framer "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" wall hanging from Keith and Kathy. Afterwards we had breakfast, got dressed and went to church. We just had sacrament meeting combined with another ward. Dan has been sick the last few days, so he didn't even make it through an hour of church, but we tried. After church we went to Gary's parents house for dinner and gifts. His brothers Eric, Craig and Russell were there, with Russells family. Dan took a nap as soon as we got there, fell asleep on the way there actually. We had to wake him to open his present from Garnny and Opa - a stacking block set. We had a good time visiting with everyone. Last we headed to my parents around 4pm. Shelly & Jeff and Susan were there. We had dinner and then opened gifts. Daniel got a Little People Farm & Stable sets, clothes and a book. The new baby got clothes too. Gary and I got things for our 72-hour kit and for our Christmas village. As always, everyone got spoiled. After we played Sorry: Revenge with Jeff, Shelly and Susan. It was a fun game, kind of like Uno. Not really much like Sorry. Overall it was a really nice day. Gary ended up with a miserable cold by days end, and I'm on my way to getting it, but we still really enjoyed the time we got to spend with family. Here are photos from the day.
