Flying Lessons

I'm beginning to think we need to get Dan flying lessons - or at least landing lessons. He pitched himself off our our bed this morning. Head first into the floor. He has a small goose-egg on his forehead. Maybe we should get him a helmet so he doesn't do any permanent damage.
He did pretty well in nursery today. He didn't cry until we got into the room this time. And he only sat on my lap for a little while, then went to play. He would come back every once in a while for some assurance, but he did a lot better overall this week. He cried some when I left for Sunday School, but calmed down fairly soon afterwards. My Sunday School lesson went okay. It is so hard for me to feel comfortable teaching a large group. I feel so dumb. We did make it through the whole lesson without any time left over, so that was good.
We had Garys parents, my parents, Eric and Craig over for dinner tonight. I made a pot of chili. It was yummy. I found a really good chili recipe at Halloween time and decided that it counded good for dinner this week. Dan had a ball getting everyone to pick him up and drinking from Grandmas cup. He also liked dumping water on her. He is getting better at drinking from a cup by himself. He still dribbles it down him a little, but is starting to catch on to the fact that the more he tips it up the more comes out. I think he likes the novelty of the thing more than anything else.
