Turn, Baby, Turn

I had a doctors appointment yesterday. I haven't progressed much from two weeks ago - I'm still 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated. I was measuring small, so Dr. Van Horn had me get an ultrasound and non-stress test. Both were normal, except that the baby is breech. I don't know what we'll do about that. Hopefully he'll turn on his own, or I may go in for a version. The ultrasound tech was trying to show us the baby's face. It was so different from the first ultrasound - so hard to see anything. We did see his face. He looks like he'll have a chubby face like Dan. Gary and I sat down with our name lists the other night. There were 9 in common on both of our lists: Jacob, Evan, William, Benjamin, Adam, Jackson, David, Jared and Jesse (in no particular order). Of course, none really jump out at us yet, so his name may not be on that list at all.
I bought Dan a set of magnetic letters and numbers for the fridge. He loves them. He'll take one off, bring it over to me and make me tell him what it is, then he'll repeat what I say and take it back to the fridge in exchange for another. Sometimes he likes to scrape them all off of the fridge, then I sit with him and we say all of their names as I put them back on the fridge. I think it is a great way to help him learn his letters and numbers - he thinks it's just play. He has laos been learning to drink from a cup. He does pretty well as long as there's not much in it. He does have a habit of up-ending the cup once he's done and whatever is left ends up on the floor or your lap (just ask Grandma about that). So right now, he just gets water in his cup.
Frogpaw Studio (our eBay store) is going well. We made about twice last month as we did in January. Hopefully it will keep up once the new baby comes. I still have to rearrange things in Dan's room to make room for the baby's things, and put his cradle together. Just a little less than a month left. I think I'd be ready for it to be over any time now.
