Easter Sunday was nice this year. Since we had late church, we slept in a little (as late as Jack would let us), enjoyed Daniel's opening of his Easter basket, had breakfast, went to church and then to Russ & Tracie's for dinner. Dan loved the cars he got in his basket - forget the candy! He played with them most of the morning. He also got a train puzzle. He likes that too. I bet he'll like it even more when we get batteries for it so it will make sounds like it's supposed to. Jackson got a stuffed lamb that is wearing a bib that says "My First Easter." I bought them matching Easter outfits (cheesy, I know). They looked so cute! I tried to get a photo of them together before church, but Jack was crying and Dan was annoyed, so I only got one okay one. I had to teach Sunday School yesterday. It was my first week back to our ward since Jack was born. My lesson went well I think. Hopefully the class got something out of it. (I think I learn more preparing the lessons than the class gets out of them.) After being gone so long it was almost like teaching for the first time all over again! We went out to Russ & Tracie's new house in Herriman after Gary finished his Ward Clerk duties. It was nice to see most of the family and for them to see Jack. Ashley was cute playing with Daniel. I think all of the people there overwhelmed Dan at first, but he quickly warmed up to everyone. We stayed at their house until 9:30, talking and playing. It was a good visit. Now that they live closer hopefully we can see them more often. Here are a few photos from yesterday. Enjoy.
