We spent this weekend at Bear Lake with Gary's parents. It was a really nice little vacation. We drove up through Park City and Evanston on Friday night. Gary's parents rented a nice condo at a resort they have a membership in.
Saturday we drove to Paris, Idaho and did some sight-seeing, then came back to the condo for lunch and naps. We spent the afternoon on the beach. Gary built a sand castle and Daniel played in the water. I had to coax him into the lake the first couple of times, but once he was used to it he didn't want to come out, even though the water was cold. He was having a blast dumping buckets of water down himself. He would dump it, then let out a string of "Dan-ese" words. It was so funny - it as the same string every time, like he was saying "Oh! That's cold!" He also had fun digging in the sand and playing with his sand toys. Jackson took a nap in his carseat while we were on the beach - under an umbrella of course. That night we got Raspberry shakes and french fries from LaBeaus in Garden City.
Sunday we drove home through Monte Cristo, by Pineview Reservoir. All in all it was a great weekend.
For Father's Day on Sunday we had dinner at my parents house and played dominoe games. Gary got fishing poles for Fathers Day. We gave his Dad a book and my Dad a DVD set.

Ah LaBeau's raspberry shakes -- so good. Great pictures, I'm a regular reader of the blog and always love hearing what the Jones are up to. Cute kids! The Seattle Durhams are well: busy with two of our own (C turns four months this week!), but hanging in there! Glad you guys are doing well! ~Troy
