Daniel likes pears. Susan gave us a box of pears from the tree in her backyard that have been ripening in our dining room. Today I left the boys with Grandpa when I went to the post office and when I returned, Dan was eating one, peel and all. He would have eaten the core if I hadn't cut it out when I got home! Grandpa said he just took one out of the box and started eating. I am glad he likes pears though. They are a good fruit. I am going to dry some when I get some lemon juice, hopefully tommorrow.

Ahhh...that Susan. She must be great giving something as wonderful as pears away:). Maybe thought, Grandpa should be watching him a little more closely so he doesn't eat the core.
