Teeth & Candy

Jacksons fourth tooth broke through yesterday. He now has two front teeth showing - the two on the left side. Hopefully the other two front teeth aren't far behind. He will look very funny if they are!
Halloween was a big hit with our two-year old. We took the boys to both grandparents' houses and around the neighborhood where most of our ward members live. Daniel loves trick-or-treating. By the time we got home that night he was yelling "Trick-or-Treat" as loud as he could. He got a lot of candy for the relatively few houses we visited. Papa and I have secreted it away to dole out a little at a time. Jackson spent most of the trick-or-treat time at Grandpa & Grandma Johnsons house. It was a bit chilly out for little cows (29 degrees!). It was so fun to experience Halloween with Daniel. He was so excited he would do the "happy dance" down the sidewalk. He didn't care if it was sub-freezing out - he was getting candy!
I made a big batch of baby food toady. I filled all eight of my ice cube trays, plus about a dozen plastic baby food containers. I tried avocado this time. It is supposed to be a very healthy food for babies, and they were on sale 2 for $1. I also made more squash, sweet potatoes and carrots - all big hits with Jack. When my trays are free I will make him some more green veggies - peas and green beans most likely. He doesn't really care for zucchini, but he will eat it if I mix it in with something else. I am going to try making baby cereal too.
