Sick boys (again!)

Poor Daniel. Up until this winter he has been a relatively healthy kiddo. This winter however, he has had virus after virus. I just cannot seem to get him well. He was on the mend (aside from the ever-constant runny nose), then today he was grumpy all day and very tired & feverish. We gave him a bath before bed to help him feel better, but he and Jack both went down about 20 minutes earlier than usual. When I put him down for his requested nap this afternoon he didn't move an inch after I put the blankets over him & he went to sleep. Over two and a half hours - not an inch! Normally he is all over the bed. He must be exhausted.
Jackson is still battling his ear infection. When I took him into the doctor for his 9-month checkup yesterday the doctor noticed he still had an ear infection and prescribed a different antibiotic for him. I had noticed he has been pulling at his ears the past few days. Other than that he still has a touch of his earlier bronchitis but otherwise is good. He hasn't grown in height since his 6 month check, but has gained about a pound. He is 27.5 inches long & 15 lbs. 5 oz. Jacks crawling ability is progressing very quickly. It is amazing to watch him crawl around. He can go a good 6 feet or so in a dash. He goes all over the house. I think it is so cute watching him crawl on all fours, since Daniel never really did. He is certainly pleased with himself. He is also getting at least one new tooth on his bottom jaw. If the past holds true another should be coming along shortly.
I am making Christmas treats for our friends & family this weekend. I am trying some new recipes and some ones we liked from last year. I'm going to put together boxes with the goodies. Hopefully all of the recipes will be good, edible at least.
