Daniel reached a major milestone today - he went potty on his potty chair for the first time! I had to wait at home for a package to be delivered this morning (you know the drill - sometime between 10:30 and 2:30...) so I decided to go a bit heavier on the potty training. I've decided to try the letting him wander around the house bottomless method of potty training. So, I sat Daniel down on the potty chair watching Elmo with a can of pop (to fill his bladder!), then waited. It took three rounds of ELmo, and most of the pop, but he finally went! I rewarded him with lots of praise and a new Matchbox car from my potty training stash. He seemed to be a little concerned with what he actually did on the potty, and shyed away from it for a while afterwards. By the end of the day he had gone in the potty three times, but also had three little accidents. It is a start though, so I won't complain!

I am soooo proud of Daniel!!!!! I feel bad, because I believe he left the hard earned car at my house. He will have to get it back next time I see him!!!!! Way to go Dan!!!!
Good Job Daniel! I am so not looking forward to potty training Tyler. I know I have a while, but the day will come soon enough.
